They found 19 charred bodies in a truck in Camargo, Tamaulipas

Tamaulipas.- General State Prosecutor’s Office Tamaulipas confirmed the finding of 19 bodies in the city of Santa Anita, in the municipality Camargo.

The prosecutor’s office indicated that a research file for the offense of homicide, derived from the discovery of calcined bodies and vehicles.

On the afternoon of January 22, the authorities of the Ministry of Public Security were alerted by a report of the citizens, so that, when moving to the respective place, in a void in the aforementioned city, a burned vehicle was found, they located and two vehicles burned as well as human remains.

In a pickup there were two bodies in the cabin, another body on one side of the door on the pilot’s side, another on the passenger’s door side and 15 in the vehicle’s body.

Police officers and investigating experts came to the scene to judge the place, as well as to collect evidence that would reveal how the events unfolded.

From the first investigations it was established that the death was caused by the projectiles of fire-arm and then they were set on fire.

From the inspections carried out so far, no carcasses have been located in the area, so one of the lines to follow is that the events could have developed in a place other than the discovery, establishing communication with state authorities.
