These San Antonio hubs will receive shipments of COVID-19 vaccine this week

SAN ANTONIO – The Texas State Department of Health has announced which COVID-19 vaccination centers in San Antonio will receive vaccine doses in the week of January 25th.

These are just the first doses of the vaccine. Health officials say these locations are where the vaccine will be shipped, but not necessarily where the vaccines will be distributed.

Below are the centers in San Antonio that will receive the vaccine:

  • San Antonio Metropolitan Health District Main Immunization Clinic – 9,000 doses of Modern vaccine

  • University health system – boarding school – 10,725 doses of Pfizer vaccine

  • Wellness 360 (Adult) – 5,850 doses of Pfizer vaccine

It is not specified where these new doses will be sent for distribution yet.

The four COVID-19 vaccine distribution sites in San Antonio still include Alamodome, WellMed Elvira Cisneros Senior Community Center, Alicia Treviño López Senior Community Center and Wonderland of the Americas.
