Have you ever wanted to play Mortal Kombat 11 in the first person? Probably not. But no matter, there is now a way that allows you to do just that.
As noted by DSOGaming, MK11Hook is a PC mode created by Ermaccer that adds some new features Mortal Kombat 11, including the ability to change the speed of the game and reposition the camera. This makes playback possible MK11 using a room from the first or third person, as seen in Ermaccer’s video presentation of the mode.
As you can see, this is not the ideal way to play a fighting game, but it is nice to have options. Ermaccer created a similar mode, MKXHook, for the last game in the series, which also included new camera angles.
Watching the video of this mode in action reminded me of “The Hado’s Way, ”A terrific first-person mode included in the Switch version of Ultra Street Fighter II: The Last Challengers which uses movement commands and makes players fight waves of enemies.
