Intel posted a cryptic teaser on Twitter This morning, this seems to suggest that the chip maker is preparing to release more details about its long-awaited gaming graphics card, Xe HPG.
What information is no one He knows, but Intel has been missing tiny crumbs about the Xe HPG for months. Last August, Intel said its GPU for gaming could ship somewhere in 2021, and during its presentation at CES 2021, the company mentioned that it found a way to use both an integrated GPU and a discreteyou GPU at the same time.
Intel did not specify whether this would be a feature only for its graphics cards and processors or whether it would be compatible with Nvidia and AMD cards, but it’s clear something the company works onn. We may hear more about the function during a future Intel aired on March 23. Or maybe the date of the revelation will be March 26.
Why March 26? Conformable Wccftech, there is a binary code in the video that, if translated correctly, indicates a hidden one scavenger hunting website. “Welcome to the Xe HPG Scavenger Hunt” is visibly displayed in a small black box on the site. There is a March 26, 9 in the morning PST “release date” and a note for people to return that day and enter “their secret code”. The code seems were broken by a Twitter user.
There is no other information on how to find that secret code. It may be related to the broadcast on March 23, but it doesn’t seem likely at the moment. Like most ice hunters, there are a number of hidden objects and puzzles to solve before revealing the mystery at the end or freeing yourself from the escape room; Gizmodo contacted Intel for clues, but has not heard anything back.
Intel has officially launched its first Xe desktop GPU in January. However, they are mainly for budget, non-gaming desktops and most of the cards are included in pre-built PCs, rather as a standalone item, available on the shelf. Xe HPG should be more of a mid-range card and a competitive price compared to Nvidia and AMD.

So Intel is preparing for something, but clearly trying to create more mystery to arouse emotion. Consider us excited.
