The New York Yankees are pretty worried for your current moment in MLB season because they have the worst start to the season since 1997 and are the worst team in the American League with 5-10 so far. Although there is confidence that the current team can turn the situation around, the truth is that the injuries they have in the team play against them.
At a news conference, CEO Brian Cashman, among other things, offered updates on the injuries of three of his stars: relief Zack Britton, Dominican incumbent Luis Severino and first baseman Luke Voit.
Cashman told Bryan Hoch of MLB.com that Zack Britton will be eligible to return to the bullpen in late May, as will Luke Voit, who hopes to return to the lineup and first baseman in the middle of the month.
Luis Severino’s case is different, since he underwent surgery Tommy John, who has improved a lot and expects to be able to rotate initially in the summer, being between June, July and August likely for his return.
