So many surprisingly healthy stories to find and solve, so little time
An entire population is about to enter a Kiryu state of mind and this warms my heart like a freshly fried towel coming out of the dryer. Finally, Sega launched Yakuza Remastered Collection on Steam and Xbox One – the three-game package costs $ 40, or you can stay with the Xbox Game Pass if you have it.
You can also buy 1080p / 60fps remasters Yakuza 3, Yakuza 4, and Yakuza 5 separately if you want, but you will lose out on the savings in the process. The games are $ 20 per pop if you go that route.
You may not be in a place to play these three titles yet, but even knowing that you will have the chance to check them out on your platform of your choice is encouraging. It is important that the main series is available in one place (and I hope that some of the spin-off games will reappear in the future).
I have the PS4 edition of Yakuza Remastered Collection, and wait for the right moment to play feverishly through them back-to-back. I jump from hibernation to intense obsession.
Next stop on Yakuza train will be the PS5 version of Yakuza: Like a dragon, which is released on March 2, followed by Yakuza 6: The Song of Life, which will arrive on Xbox One and PC on March 25.
