A woman has filed a multimillion-dollar lawsuit against UFC superstar Conor McGregor for alleged bodily harm, her lawyer confirmed to ESPN on Tuesday.
Dave Coleman, the woman’s lawyer, said that the trial, for events that would have taken place in 2018, was filed on Monday in the High Court in Dublin, Ireland. In addition, the woman’s mother filed a lawsuit against McGregor, Coleman said in a smaller lawsuit. The lawyer will not provide additional details about the case. According to the Independent, who first reported the trial, a McGregor associate is listed as a co-defendant.
“The issue is in court,” Coleman said.
The situation was investigated by An Garda Síochána, the national police service in the Republic of Ireland, but there were no charges against McGregor, and McGregor denied any wrongdoing, the Independent reported.

The New York Times reported in 2019 that McGregor was the subject of two sexual assault investigations, although the allegations have not been made and it is unclear whether these investigations are still open.
Over the years, McGregor has had several competitions with the law. He was arrested in Brooklyn after throwing a dolly on a UFC bus after a press day in 2018 and was fined 1,000 euros in Dublin court in 2019 for hitting a man in the face in a pub , an attack that was captured on video.
