The woman is after the police after 13 million dollars disappear from the South Korean casino

South Korean police are investigating the country for clues to the disappearance of millions of dollars in cash from a casino on a popular holiday island.

Jeju Shinhwa World, one of the largest resorts on Jeju Island, reported to police earlier this month that more than $ 14 billion in winnings, the equivalent of $ 13 million, had disappeared from Landing Casino, where players usually play baccarat and other high stakes card games.

Hong Kong casino operator Landing International Development Ltd. has asked police to look for a Malaysian cash employee who had worked for cash but had not returned to work after a holiday in late December. In a case on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, CEO Wong Hoi Po said Landing had failed to reach the woman.

Shares of Landing International Development fell 7.6 percent to a record high on Monday, before recovering 4.7 percent on Tuesday.

South Korea’s semi-official news agency Yonhap reported that Jeju police took over the security camera footage from the casino, but found that footage made around the suspected time of the robbery had been deleted.
