The Warriors expect Stephen Curry (illness) to return to action on Tuesday

Stephen Curry took part in all training sessions on Monday, and the Golden State Warriors expect him to return to action on Tuesday, after missing Saturday’s game with illness.

“He’s feeling better today,” coach Steve Kerr told a video conference. “He participated in the whole practice, he participated fully, so we anticipate that he will play (Tuesday).”

Curry, who averages 29.9 points per game this season, was eliminated in the last line before Saturday’s game, in which the Warriors lost 102-100 to the Charlotte Hornets.

The other good news for Golden State is that Kerr is optimistic that James Wiseman (wrist) and Kevon Looney (ankle) will play for the New York Knicks, after participating in all training sessions on Monday. The warriors want to evaluate them in the heat and see how they respond before making a final decision.

“If they’re both ready to play, they’ll play,” Kerr said of his extended rotation with both players on the floor. “Obviously, we can’t put 12 in the game, so I will have to make a few moves. I won’t say what I will do, I have to talk to our players first, but if Loon and James are active, they will play. “

Kerr said he expects Looney to return to the starting line if he can play, after coming out of action since he sprained his ankle on Feb. 2. Wiseman came out on January 30th.
