The video shows quick-thinking cops, a cop helping customers catch a suspect escaping

A customer waiting for a chick-fil-a drive-thru is praised for his quick thinking after he helped a police officer catch a suspect following him.

The incident took place on Wednesday in Jacksonville, Texas, while the man was waiting in line for his chicken sandwich, according to KLTV.

Jacksonville police say officers were following a suspect who was said to be driving a stolen vehicle and jumped out of the car to escape police.

When the suspect tried to drive between the line of cars through the restaurant parking lot, the customer waited until the right time to open the truck door to the suspect.

An officer threw himself at the man after he fell to the ground, and the client can be seen still assisting the officer while making the arrest.

“A hungry customer, who was patiently waiting for his chicken sandwich, used his door to stop the suspect. The suspect was quickly apprehended after the “but useful) HANGRY citizen reminded the suspect why you should never run away from the police,” the Jacksonville Police Department wrote on their Facebook page with a video of the incident.

Police did not say whether the suspect was facing charges following his arrest.

The video received a lot of attention, with more than a thousand comments and almost ten thousand posts on Facebook alone and many more on Twitter.
