The US is deploying a USAID team in the North Triangle

The government of Joe Biden will deploy a team from the United States Office for International Development (Usaid, in English) to attend “urgent humanitarian needs” in Guatemala, El Salvador and Honduras

The group, known as Disaster relief team o DART, is made up of disaster experts, aimed at expanding emergency food aid, as well as other humanitarian programs, a statement said.

Defined as “elite team” by the You said, this group will “assess humanitarian needs, coordinate with local partners and officials, and provide urgently needed assistance to families and communities affected by the crisis.”

With this commitment, the Agency is leading the “humanitarian response” of the the United States government in the Northern triangle which coincides with an increase in the arrivals of migrants from Central America to the border with the US.

“The commitment of a team of DART will provide necessary humanitarian aid and help people in the region where they are, ”said the vice president.

The American President, Joe Biden, has appointed Harris as his manager to stop the migration from Central America and tune in with El Salvador, Honduras and Guatemala to combat the problems of violence and corruption that cause the flight of its citizens.

Irregular migration from Central America to the US has increased in recent months and the reception system has collapsed, prompting criticism of the Biden administration.
