The United States is asking for the extradition of three Hondurans

TEGUCIGALPA, HONDURAS.- The Supreme Court (CSJ) reported on Tuesday that three Hondurans have been requested to be extradited from the United States.

The identity of the requested persons is kept secret so that the detention process is not spoiled.

Rolando Argueta, chairman of the Power of attorney, called on the plenary meeting of magistrates to choose the judges who will hear the case and determine whether the extradition goes ahead or not.

The delivered

From 2013 to now, Honduras has transferred 23 characters involved in drug trafficking to the United States.

The first to be extradited to the northern nation was the drug trafficker Carlos “The Black” Wolf, sentenced to 20 years in prison.

He was followed by the main leaders of the Valle Valle Cartel, Luis Alonso and Miguel Arnulfo Valle, who had their operations center in the Western Zone.

Also Héctor Emilio Fernández Rosa, Carlos Emilio Arita, Juan Carlos Arbizú and Ludwig Criss Zelaya.

Most of the extradited persons are sentenced to more than ten years in prison in the United States.
