Square Enix surprised viewers during today’s Nintendo Direct broadcast, revealing a brand –new game, temporarily Triangle project strategy. The game won’t come out until next year, but a demo is expected to hit the eShop later today.
Triangle project strategy (a working title) is the next game to fall under the growing “HD-2D” umbrella of Square Enix, following in the footsteps of 2018 Octopath Traveler with its beautiful mix of old school sprites and high definition environments.
While the details during the Live were light, Square Enix describes Triangle project strategy as a tactical RPG “full of choices and consequences”, which sounds pretty good Fire emblem thousand. Players will gain advantages over enemies during the battle with the intelligent use of height, flanks and related attacks.
