A series of text messages between two beloved British teenagers show in terrible detail how the relationship quickly led to murder, according to a report.
Matthew Mason, 19, was found guilty last week of killing his 15-year-old boyfriend, Alex Rodda, after Rodda exposed his relationship with Mason’s girlfriend, according to a report in The Sun.
“You have to tell him your truth, Matt, because I already have,” Rodda wrote in a text message.
Mason killed the schoolboy in a remote forest on December 12 in Cheshire, near Manchester in the northwest of the country.
The killer brought her boyfriend under “sexual activity” before blocking him with “cold blood” with a key, court documents say.
Their six-week relationship quickly broke out after Rodda, who was openly gay, threatened to expose Mason, who had a girlfriend and lived on a farm with her millionaire parents. Rodda also threatened to upload sexually explicit photos to her social media account.
