The Super Mario 3D World Captain Toad stages have received a multiplayer switch renewal

As if the wonderful Bowsertron 5000 wasn’t enough to stimulate us for Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury, Nintendo has revealed that the Captain Toad levels featured in the game will now support multiplayer.

Of course, you might remember that Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker actually started as a series of isometric minigames found in Super Mario 3D World on the Wii U. The concept was so good that Nintendo decided to turn the idea into a new game in itself right – one that has now been released on the Wii U, 3DS and Switch.

Initially, in 3D World on Wii U, Captain Toad levels were only for one player, but everything will change when the game is relaunched on the Switch; Nintendo has confirmed on its official website that the stages of the Captain Toad puzzle will now support up to four players. Wahoo!
