The Starfield launch window is potentially revealed

Hot after a new report claiming that Xbox and Bethesda are set to host some sort of event next month, updated information on the potential launch window for Starfield appeared even now. While it’s not certain if these new details associated with the long-awaited RPG are legitimate, it does align with what we’ve heard in the past about the game’s release.

Over ResetEra, a known leaker named “NateDrake” Starfield and the launch plans Bethesda has for it. According to this user, Bethesda has been planning to launch the game at some point in 2021 for some time. However, based on last year’s events, plans could have changed. “There was a strong hope and desire to have Starfield launch this year, “the post said.” How important were the impacts due to COVID on the title, everyone assumes, but 2021 was the goal launched a few months ago. “

Of course, with any leak of this type, it is always worth pointing out that the details presented here could be very flawed. That being said, and as I mentioned earlier, a launch window in 2021 for Starfield it’s actually something I’ve heard about in the past. A fairly credible report came out late last year, which also stated a 2021 target window when it comes to Starfield. As NateDrake noted in his own post, however, whether or not the COVID-19 pandemic could have caused an internal delay is unknown.

There is also the possibility that once Bethesda becomes part of Xbox Game Studios, the powers that be at Microsoft may have different plans when it comes to Starfield. As such, this is very much a situation where the interns at Bethesda and Xbox may not even have a launch window for the game yet. So book your expectations for now.

At this point, everything we know for sure about Starfield it is, in fact, just that it exists. Bethesda has not yet confirmed any release windows or game platforms. If some kind of event happens next month, maybe we’ll find out more at that time.
