© NintendoSuper Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Rage is the first major version of the Nintendo Switch of the year and will arrive on February 12.
Although we’ve already heard how 3D World will work much faster compared to the original Wii U, it seems that a number of outlets have now shared information about the frame rate and the resolution that players can expect in both games.
Here is the summary, courtesy of Nintendo Everything. It is worth noting that the resolution of Bowser’s Fury in docked mode can be higher than 720p (the source does not clarify the docked and portable differences).
Super Mario 3D World
– 1080p, 60 fps (docked)
– 720p, 60fps (portable)
Bowser’s anger
– 720p, 60fps (docked)
– 720p, 30fps (portable)
For comparison, the original 3D World game on the Wii U was 720p, 60fps.
While the above details are enough to give you an idea of how this upcoming Switch release will work, once again – the resolution of Fury Bowser in docked mode is not yet fully confirmed. If it was a little bigger, it would be more than welcome.
