A well-known hacker and data miner console, which goes hand in hand SciresM found more clues about Switch Pro. According to the hacker, Nintendo is working on the new model for up to two years. The firmware seems to indicate that Switch Pro, codenamed Aula, will support 4K games. The device would support both docked and portable games and would run on a Mariko on-chip (SoC) system. The chip will provide better cooling and battery life, according to the leaker.

The Switch Pro tablet will have an OLED screen, which would be a significant upgrade. It is unclear whether it will support 4K games in portable mode. The docking station could turn a Realtek chip advertised as a “4K UHD multimedia SoC” that could allow 4K games when the console is docked.
