Shares of silver miners dominated the NYSE’s largest list of winners in Monday morning trading, as the trading frenzy sent sharply shortened shares, such as GameStop Corp. GME,
and AMC Entertainment Holdings Inc. I HAVE C,
rockets last week seem to swallow the silver metal. Silver futures SI00,
increased 12% in morning trades to a maximum level of 8 years, putting them on the path to the highest one-day gain since March 2009. GATO Silver Inc. shares. CAT,
earned 41.9% to lead all NYSE winners, while Hecla Mining Co. divide HL,
were second on the list with a 36.6% increase, Endeavor Silver Corp. EXK acts,
were the third, with an increase of 26.7%, and the CDE shares of Coeur Mining Inc.,
was fourth with a rally of 26.6%. Also on the shares of First Majestic Silver Corp. AG,
Fortuna Silver Mines Inc. also rose 23.4%. FSM,
gained 18.0%. The stock rally comes as the S&P 500 SPX,
is increasing by 0.5%.
