The sailors have to move on from Kevin Mather – The Athletic

Kevin Mather should have disappeared by now. The Mariners were supposed to fire him after the Seattle Times reported in 2018 that before he became president and CEO of the team, he was one of three club directors accused of misconduct at work, having as a result of financial arrangements for the applicants.

Think that now, after Mather’s deaf and offensive remarks to Bellevue Breakfast Rotary Club in a video call on Feb. 5, the sand-headed sailors’ property will finally take action? He has to be fired until you read this. His unbelievable thoughts, one more wrong than the next, are the A to Z Exhibitions in which many players and fans hold the owners in contempt. If that’s what property types really think, why should they trust any of them?

Perhaps Mather is at the extreme with his discriminatory remarks about former Japanese pitcher Hisashi Iwakuma and Dominican prospect Julio Rodriguez, and what he perceived as the difficulty …
