A New York SoulCycle instructor apologized Monday for queuing up for the coronavirus vaccine.
“I want to apologize from the bottom of my heart for my recent vaccination action,” Stacy Griffith, a popular SoulCycle instructor, wrote on her behalf. “I made a terrible mistake in court and I’m really sorry about that.”
“If I get vaccinated, it can stop spreading in groups!” Griffith told the Daily Beast. “I work as a common ground for many people who overlap. In my health and wellness profession as a teacher, it is my daily priority to keep my community and respiratory system running at full capacity so that I can beat this virus if I am infected with it. I can only teach them if I am healthy. ”
Vaccines should be targeted at the elderly, people with pre-existing health conditions and key workers, such as teachers and firefighters. Some communities have also sought to ensure that the communities most affected by the virus receive access amid reports that richer, white neighborhoods receive vaccines faster.
