A recurring clip showing Sharon Osbourne commenting offensively on Meghan Markle’s Blackness appeared online this week as co-host “The Talk” faces charges of making racist and homophobic comments to her former colleagues.
Journalist Yashar Ali, who on Tuesday published a report on allegations of Osbourne’s conduct towards his former co-hosts, also posted a On Twitter on Saturday, which included an old clip from Osbourne talking about the Duchess of Sussex on “The Talk.”
In the video, which was allegedly filmed in 2018, co-host Sheryl Underwood can be heard saying that Meghan brought “Blacking the Royal Family”, to which Osbourne responds: “She is not black”.

Osbourne’s publicist Howard Bragman issued a statement denying the allegations against Ali, calling the allegations “lies” and “reforming history.”
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight on Tuesday, Osbourne said she was blinded by Underwood’s questions about Morgan last week, saying she was “prepared” and not properly prepared for the question – which she said is common practice.

CBS announced on Tuesday that “The Talk” will be paused for another week, after the network initially stated that the show will close for Monday and Tuesday, while watching the Underwood and Osbourne exchange.
