One of the biggest questions about video games in 2021 revolves around Nintendo The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 and its launch prospects during the calendar year. Well, according to a potential Nintendo insider, it looks like fans should expect to get their hands on the game before the end of the year.

In a new tweet from a Brazilian streamer who had a few Nintendo-related pieces in the past, he was teased about it. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 will indeed launch this year. This information was discussed in a message that translated into “Happy 2021”, along with images with four Nintendo franchises, which the insider seems to think we will see this year. One of these pictures was from Breath of the Wild 2 which seems to be a clear indication of the potential launch window of the game.

Obviously, this information comes with the major warning, in the sense that we have no idea if it will turn out to be true. It is unclear whether the insider has specific knowledge of Nintendo’s launch plans Breath of the Wild 2 or if this is instead just their own estimate of what might be released in 2021. So given that, take the whole situation with a pretty important grain of salt.

Nintendo hasn’t said a look about the long-awaited sequel since it first unveiled it at E3 2019.
