The Public Ministry announces that it will continue its activity despite the new measures

The Office of the Prosecutor General of the Republic has ordered a series of measures requesting that all members of the Public Ministry, as well as its administrative staff, maintain monitoring of protocols aimed at stopping the spread of COVID-19, without affecting its continuity of services to citizens.

The different departments will work from 8:00 in the morning until 3:00 in the afternoon.

In a circular sent by José Manuel Abud Soler, Director of Human Management, to all members of the Public Ministry and their administrative staff, the Prosecutor General’s Office reiterates that the remote work of vulnerable health workers, especially the elderly, is maintained. 60 years of age, pregnant or breastfeeding women and staff with duly certified critical health.

The provisions of the General Prosecutor’s Office are “strictly compliant, for which we have the cooperation of all to preserve the health of employees and prevent the spread of COVID-19”, recalls the institutional message.
