A new and official one Resident Evil Village the promotional image from Japan has surfaced online and is making the rounds because it has apparently missed a major and unannounced character that Capcom probably tried to keep secret or save for the game’s final trailer. The new game that is more or less Resident Evil 8 is just a month away from launching on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S and PC, however it seems that there are major characters we do not know about.

On Twitter, the user Masa shared a new promotional image launched by Capcom, for the game, in Japan. The picture shows Ethan Winters – the protagonist – and his baby Rose, who is worn by Chris Redfield. And, in addition, there is a prominent but strongly hidden character, who wears a type of helmet / mask. If you do not recognize the character, it is because they have not been revealed yet, and at the time of publication, this has not been corrected.

While this image has been floating for a few days, Capcom has not approached it with any comments or additional information, leaving fans with speculation only. As for who it could be, no one knows for sure, but some theorize that it is “Mother Miranda”, which Lady Dimitrescu refers to in one of the game’s trailers.
