Roo.- Former governor of Puebla, Mario Marin Torres, accused of torture to the detriment of the journalist Lydia cacho, slept tonight in the same prison where the businessman, Jean Succar Kuri, is sentenced to 112 years in prison for the crime of child pornography and corruption of minors.
Marín Torres arrives in this city after being arrested in Acapulco and will face the charge against him in the traditional justice system, reported Aracely Andrade, lawyer for Cacho Ribeiro, who is following the case of the complaints against the writer, time 15 years.
“I never thought I’d live to see him,” he said, referring to the fact that I witnessed the arrest and probable prosecution of Marin Torres, the “precious governor,” a nickname he remembers. he – was given to him by Kamel Nacif, the businessman who asked him to give an example to the journalist because he published the book The demons of Eden, which links him to Succar Kuri, the head of a human trafficking ring.

“His arrest is a first victory, but that doesn’t mean justice will be done.” And he adds: “Since it is a serious crime, if an official prison order is issued, he will face trial in prison and we would do so by requesting that he be transferred to a maximum security prison.”
