The Orlando Magic change Aaron Gordon to the Denver Nuggets

The Orlando Magic and Denver Nuggets have agreed a deal to send Aaron Gordon to Denver, ESPN sources say Adrian Wojnarowski.

Instead, Gary Harris, RJ Hampton and a first-round pick will go to Magic, as well as a protected first-round pick in 2025, according to sources.

Orlando will also include Gary Clark in the agreement, sources told Wojnarowski.

The Magic was very active before the trading deadline, moving center Nikola Vucevic to the Chicago Bulls and sending goalkeeper Evan Fournier to the Boston Celtics.

Gordon, 25, admitted Tuesday that he asked Orlando for a transaction. He said he made the request out of “frustration” with the team over various issues.

“There were times when I expressed frustration with the leadership,” Gordon told reporters. “Frustration with the losses, the injuries, the way I played and how many losses have accumulated over the years. So I would say it’s just my hot frustration … I think a lot of people share that feeling of frustration with me.” .

Gordon was selected by Magic with the fourth overall pick in the 2014 Draft. Since Gordon was selected before the 2014-15 season, Magic has had a combined record of 203-322, qualifying for the playoffs. only twice and being eliminated in the first round each time.

Gordon has an average of 14.7 points and 6.8 rebounds per game this season.
