For many years, arcade machines offered state-of-the-art gaming and graphics, which were simply impossible to recreate on home consoles in the 1980s and 1990s. It is no longer the case, but in 1983 a new arcade game was introduced that absolutely blew the minds of the players, because it seemed like you were playing a cartoon on Saturday morning: The Dragon’s Den.
Decades before there were technologies such as real-time shading on 3D models, The Dragon’s Den he made his revolutionary graphics by using hundreds of hand-animated clips (created by animation legend Don Bluth) that were played on a laser disc triggered by the choices of a game in play. It was a beautiful and extremely challenging game that has been ported to countless platforms over the years, but Arcade1Up also announced a recreation of the original The Dragon’s Den arcade cabinet that fits the same size and scale as the original.

AYou three features the same hand-animated style. Are there are no details yet on when the arcade device will be available but since it’s a full-scale replica, you can expect the prices to be slightly higher than the other Arcade1Up cabinets.
