CHATTANOOGA, Tennessee, Dec. 18, 2020 (LifeSiteNews) – In a video that has now gone viral, a nurse collapsed on live television in a Tennessee hospital just minutes after receiving the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine.
The live event features masked doctors administering the jab to five employees of Chattanooga Heart Institute Memorial Hospital (CHI) in Hamilton County, Tennessee.
Nurse Tiffany Dover was answering questions at a press briefing shortly after receiving the vaccine, when she suddenly began to look dizzy before saying “sorry” and then fainting; the event occurred approximately 17 minutes after it was inoculated.

After recovering from his fall, Dover said: “[it] it just hit me all of a sudden, I felt it coming. I felt a little disoriented, but I feel good now, and the pain in my arm is gone. “
CHI staff quickly turned away from any association between Dover’s side effect and the vaccine, with Dr. Jesse Tucker, medical director of critical care medicine, saying:[it] is a reaction that can happen very frequently with any vaccine or vaccine. He went on to say that there was “no reason to suspect that this was due to the vaccine.”
However, this event did not happen in isolation. Just two days ago, two health professionals who received the same Pfizer vaccination developed painful side effects within minutes of the injection. In accordance with New York Times, one of the workers “had an anaphylactic reaction that started 10 minutes after the vaccine was administered”, experiencing “a rash on the face and torso, difficulty breathing and an increased heart rate”.
The second worker had an equally shocking reaction, developing “swollen eyes, dizziness and a scratchy throat 10 minutes after the injection.” Again, local doctors did not seem to be bothered by the incidents, Alaska’s chief physician, Dr. Anne Zink, said there were no “plans to change our vaccination schedule, dosing[,] or regime. “
The United Kingdom was the first country to authorize the Pfizer / BioNTech vaccine for public use. Last week, after a mass vaccine launch program began, two British nurses also suffered side effects from the injection. Subsequently, the Medicines and Medicines Regulatory Agency (MHRA) issued an additional advisory notification to vaccine distributors that “anyone with a history of anaphylaxis to a vaccine, drug or food should not receive the Pfizer / BioNTech vaccine”, adding that “the second dose should not be given to anyone who has had anaphylaxis after the first dose of this vaccine. “
Dr. James Lyons-Weiler, president and CEO of the Institute for Pure and Applied Knowledge, in a harsh speech to the Pennsylvania Medical Freedom Press Conference, said that “historically coronavirus vaccines have had a terrible safety record.” also criticized vaccine manufacturers for skipping standard safety procedures, saying “[t]he FDA, completely ignoring [the] The safety margin, in an astonishing decision, decided to allow Moderna and other vaccine manufacturers to omit the most important step in the safety of the coronavirus vaccine, which is animal studies. “
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) report on the safety of the Pfizer / BioNTech vaccine found that 27% of study participants reported an adverse event within one month of receiving the vaccine. Four participants reported a period of Bell’s palsy, a “temporary weakness or lack of movement that affects part of the face,” including a fall from the eyelids and corners of the mouth.
The FDA recommended an emergency use of the Pfizer / BioNTech vaccine on December 10, saying the benefits “outweigh its risks for use in people 16 years of age and older.” Yesterday, an FDA advisory committee also recommended the emergency use of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine.
