The next Xbox controller is Pulse Red and will ship in February

Black, white, blue and now red

I’m sorry for anyone who gathers a multicolored range of Xbox controllers – they just keep coming. The latest color gamut of the gamepad, Pulse Red, is a vibrant red-white combo.

The Pulse Red controller will be available on February 9, 2021, for $ 64.99 on “most Xbox markets” and tomorrow, January 12, in China. It is compatible with Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S, PC or mobile device. In some regions, Microsoft is also launching a 14-day Xbox Game Pass Ultimate trial.

This seems to be the next logical step after last year’s Xbox Shock Blue controller.

I didn’t get my hands on one of these newer models (I stay with my original Elite controller for as long as it lasts), but I’m a fan of this specific aesthetic and I’m curious about Dynamic Latency Input System in general. I will have a lot of options next time I am on the market.
