The next DLC character of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate could be a fan favorite

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate’s the next DLC character might be a fan favorite, or at least that suggests a somewhat convincing fan theory. If you ask anyone Super Smash Bros. last player on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch Lite what character they want to see added to the platform fighter, there is a good chance to hear names like Sora, Geno, Waluigi, Lloyd, Master Chief, Doomguy, Jonesy and Crash Bandicoot, which other than maybe Sora , is the most requested DLC character. That being said, according to a new theory, the former PlayStation icon will continue to come into play.

The theory begins with the announcement that Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s time comes on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch Lite – and other platforms – next March 12th. Hence, the theory merges with the long-established “Amiibo Theory”, a well-established one Super Smash Bros. last DLC theory.

According to Amiibo’s theory, at least for now, the next fighter will be out by the end of March, as the next wave of amiibo will be launched towards the end of the month. In other words, Amiibo’s theory and liberation Crash 4 on Switch and Switch Lite seems to line up too nicely, at least for some Nintendo fans.

However, the theory does not end here. It also unearthed an old Activision leak, which noted plans to revive Crash Bandicoot. And the cover of that was to bring Crash to Super Smash Bros. last. To make this part even more interesting is a new report that claims that Activision can do with the franchise for a while. Again, the time for that, the leak of Activision and everything above is definitely interesting.

All that said, right now, this is just a theory. Moreover, although it makes a convincing case, so do many others Super Smash Bros. last theories over the years, almost all of which have not been fulfilled. In other words, take everything here with a grain of salt.
