Just us WandaVision, for all the magical madness of the sitcom, which eventually lived or died at the hands of leaders Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, Kathryn Hahn and Teyonah Parris, as well as its Disney + successor, The hawk and the winter soldier, flies or flutters on the chemistry of series stars Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan. Fortunately, that ineffable force seems to be firmly in abundance again videos released at the promotionyou the next series this weekend, including a really lovely time in which Mackie – a reliable and underrated character MCU comic MVP – gives Bucky about the heroes of the “Big Three” antagonists in this universe they end up having to hit: androids, aliens and wizards.
The two new videos were accompanied by a short featurette in which the two actors explain the dynamics of their heroes explicitly. terms of comedy of friends, establishing a universe in which, such as Charles Grodin and a great St. Bernard, you never know if I’m finally here going to kill each other or become best friends. They also talk about Gandalf in one of the videos, which feels like a nice replica of Steve’s old friend “I get that reference”. (There’s also a part where Mackie’s Sam makes fun of Bucky because he has a robot brain and, indeed, watching Anthony Mackie take the uber-serious shit Sebastian Stan will be the most fun part of of the show can already say.)
The hawk and the winter soldier debuts on Disney + on March 19th.
