Even if it’s the weekend, PlayStation news never stops, because starting today, players will be able to play one of the most anticipated games of 2021.
The eighth entry in the classic Capcom series, Resident Evil Village, will be released next month, but before the release, players can jump into a new demonstration of the game.
But be quick, you only have a set amount of time to connect and an even shorter playback time.
Here’s everything you need to know.
Resident Evil Village New Demo
During the recent RE Showcase event, it was revealed that a new demonstration for Resident Evil Village will come on all platforms.
PlayStation 4 and 5 owners will be able to play the demo before other platforms starting April 17.
But, there is a catch, the PlayStation demo is only available in 8-hour increments and can only be played 30 minutes before it crashes, just like the Resident Evil 2 One-Shot demo.
After this time, players will have to wait until May 1 to be able to play the demo again when unlocking for other platforms, this time giving players an hour to play.
PC modders may be able to unlock the timer, but since the demo is only available for one day, it would seem useless if I can’t keep it online.
There’s not much logic behind the demo this way, RE2 did the same thing, but RE3 didn’t.
The good news is that Resident Evil Village will be released on May 7, so there will be only a few days before players can jump into the full game.
Resident Evil Village will be released on May 7 on PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, Google Stage and PC via Steam.
