Recently leaked images claim today to give another look at the redesigned notch of the iPhone 13. These images are similar to those we saw earlier this week, but offer a clearer look at the changes and a comparison with the notch of the iPhone 12.
Images were shared on DuanRui’s Twitter and they seem to come from Weibo. The images show the size and notch of the iPhone 13 display using screensavers or “movie samples” of some kind. Specific supply information is unclear.
In these pictures, we can see how small the notch of the iPhone 13 will be in terms of width. As we explained earlier this week, we expect a reduction of about 30% in size in terms of width. However, the notch could become higher due to the way Apple moves its ear to the top frame.
Make the ID and the camera components remain in the visible region of the notch. The photos show how the screen protector fits for this change, not intentionally including the headphones.
It remains unclear how Apple intends to take advantage of the extra space on the iPhone 13 screen. However, the most obvious change is to make the percentage of battery available in the status bar. Currently, you need to swipe down to the Control Center to see information about your specific battery percentage.
Apart from the smaller notch, the iPhone 13 is expected to visually resemble the iPhone 12 and the same four configurations will be available: 5.4 inches, two versions of 6.1 inches and 6.7 inches. You can keep up with all the latest rumors about the iPhone 13 from our complete guide right here.
