The new Mario party is apparently in development at Nintendo

Nintendo seems to be in the early stages of working on a new one Mario Party game. This future tranche would be the first since the launch of 2018 Super Mario party and it looks like it will be developed by the same studio.

This information comes from a new post via social networks, where it is said that the developer NDcube is trying to recruit for a new Mario Party. NDcube is the studio he previously worked at Super Mario party among other games such as Mario Party 10, Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, and Clubhouse Games: 51 classics worldwide. The post begs those interested in working on the next game in the series to come and join the larger team at NDcube.

Overall, this information should not be considered shocking in any way in many respects. Since NDcube worked on Mario Party series on multiple inputs and platforms, it is quite clear that they will receive the call again to work on the next iteration of the series once Nintendo has given the green light. In addition, the fact that Nintendo wants even more Mario Party to appear in the future is only obvious. Super Mario party the Nintendo Switch sold incredibly well for the publisher, which means it was only a matter of time before a sequel was implemented.

Since NDcube is still clearly looking for staff for this Mario Party game, it might be a while before we see the game publicly revealed. It’s also worth noting that NDcube itself has previously worked on mobile titles, so it may not be a blockage that this future title will reach Switch by default.

No matter what the future might hold, however, more Mario Party seems to be something you can plan for. Whenever that future title in the series will be revealed, we will obviously announce it here on ComicBook.com. Until then, you can continue to watch all of our Nintendo coverage right here.
