A new Mario the game for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch Lite and possibly Super Switch, may have leaked or at least that’s what I think Nintendo fans just happened. Nintendo has not shared what it has in store for 2021, but many are expecting a lot of games after a somewhat quiet 2020, including The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2, Bayonet 3and possibly even Mario Kart 9. That being said, in addition to these games, plus a few others like them Metroid Prime 4, Nintendo fans are now looking forward to a sequel Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, The turn-based strategy game of 2017 from Ubisoft that merged the world of Mario with the world of Rabbits.
Speculation about a continuation of the 2017 hit comes via Twitter and following Rabbids’ official account which was transformed from “@RabbidsOfficial” to “@MarioRabbids”. At present, it is not clear why Ubisoft and Nintendo made this change, but it not only suggests a continuation, but signals a possible imminent announcement.
For now, all this is just speculation, but, as speculation points out, it is not clear what else could happen here. If it’s just a change for the sake of change, it’s a very, very random one.
Wow, it looks like the official Rabbids account has changed from @ / RabbidsOfficial to @mariorabbids!
Will we finally get the sequel to Mario Rabbids we wanted?
Let’s hope! 😍🔥🎉#MarioRabbids #NintendoSwitch pic.twitter.com/2LM3QhRUaD

At the time of publication, no party involved – Ubisoft and Nintendo – commented on the change and the speculation it created, and none of them are likely to do so. However, if this is the case, we will be sure to update the story accordingly. In the meantime, if you’re a fan of the aforementioned 2017 game, keep your eyes peeled.
