The new iPad Pro with “A14X” chip and Thunderbolt will arrive immediately in April

Apple’s new generation iPad Pro is expected to debut in April, with a high performance boost, Thunderbolt compatibility and, for the largest screen model, a Mini LED display.

While the 11- and 12.9-inch tablets are expected to take on a 2020 design, Apple could incorporate new internal technologies such as Thunderbolt connectivity. The faster I / O protocol was implemented in testing and could reach production models for compatibility with fast external hard drives and displays, the report says.

Finally, Apple is working to incorporate Mini LED technology into the larger 12.9-inch iPad Pro, offering a better level of local playback, color reproduction and contrast ratios than conventional LCD screens.

Beyond the iPad Pro, today’s report claims that Apple is developing a thinner and lighter base iPad for launch later this year, as well as an iPad mini refresh with a larger screen.

As usual, most Bloomberg’s the information echoes Monday’s predictions released for the first time by analyst Ming-Chi Kuo and other industry experts. In September, Kuo said the iPad Pro will be the first Apple device to benefit from the Mini LED, while a Mac Otakara the January report claimed that the technology would be limited to the 12.9-inch model. Earlier today, a report from DigiTimes suggested that an iPad Mini iPad Pro will be delivered as early as April.

Apple will likely introduce the new iPad Pro line at a special event in the coming weeks, although the company has not yet announced such a meeting.
