Update: Ubisoft has confirmed that the next patch for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will be released on Friday, March 26th. As predicted, the update aims to fix the problems that were introduced with the Ostara Festival. It should also restore both the decoration of the settlement and the functionality of the festival. Phew.
We will update this article again after the patch is active.
Original story: A new update for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla should be released soon on PlayStation 5 and PS4. The received patch was spotted on Sony’s servers by PlayStation game size, suggesting that its launch is imminent.
So what is it for? Well, last week, the newly added Ostara Festival managed to cause widespread fall problems. Ubisoft quickly took action, eliminating the settlement decoration system, as well as various festival activities. This is supposed to have stopped the collapse, but the players were left with a broken festival and could not customize their settlement.
As such, we can only assume that this update will solve the initial problem and restore both the decoration functionality and the festival functionality. Hopefully it works, because if not, we fear that even the most dedicated players at Valhalla will start to lose patience with the post-launch support of the game.
In any case, we will be sure to post about the patch after it is available for download.
