The national police link the case of Richard Bolívar Santana to the delivery of drugs and money

The National Police reported through a press conference that the investigations into the abduction and murder of Richard Bolívar Santana, who was found dead on a farm in the municipality of Villa Altagracia, are progressing.

The agency said several members of an alleged criminal gang had already been arrested, from which several firearms of various calibers, vehicles and other effects were confiscated.

According to police spokesman Colonel Miguel Balbuena Álvarez, the group is dedicated to kidnapping, hitting and killing narcotics and is being investigated because they are responsible for keeping Bolivar Santana in captivity and then for killing.

Five people were arrested for the incident: Rafael Ricardo Espinal, Contreras España (Ramón), Daniela de los Santos, Gabriel Elías Lesta Reyes and Armando Soto Hernández, while six others remain at large.

Gabriel Elías was identified by video analysis as one of the material actors of the kidnapping.

Armando Soto is the administrator of the farm where the body was found.
