The National Baseball Commission (CNB) confirmed the departure of the young Cuban prospect Jeison Martínez from the country, Hurricanes player.

A source close to the player confirmed a few hours before exclusively CiberCuba that the young man left Cuba on January 3 in the Dominican Republic.

The confirmation appeared in a press release of CNB in ​​which it refers to the resumption of the 60th National Baseball Series, suspended after several players were positive for coronavirus, especially from the industrial team.

In the CNB note, reproduced by the sports newspaper Jit, it is reported that “athlete Richard Núñez Romero (no. 96 / gardener) joins Mayabeque’s relationship, after Yeison Martínez Rodríguez traveled abroad, missing the contract signed with his team, which is undisciplined.

Martínez, one of the revelations in the national series 60 with hurricanes, is originally from Mayabeque and turned 21 in October last year.
