The municipal employee suffers a 30-foot fall due to the uncovered sewer in San Lorenzo

An employee of the municipality of San Lorenzo is in a state of care after suffering a fall of about 30 feet in a sewer, at about 4:15 in the morning, on the 4th street of the Ciudad Masso urbanization.

In a press release, the Police reported that the 64-year-old man works for the Public Works Department of the aforementioned municipality.

According to the complaint, while the employee was working on garbage collection, “he did not notice a sewer that did not have a safety cover that would fall into it, which is about 30 feet high.”

The injured person was transported by an Aeromed air ambulance to the Río Piedras Medical Center.

Agent Damaris Claudio, attached to the San Lorenzo district, handled the investigation.
