New, new games, baybeee! This will be an interesting year, as we see the Playstation 4 and Xbox One fade into the sunset and hopefully the new generation grows in prominence. There isn’t an incredible amount of next-gen exclusives (current-gen?) Right now, but 2021 seems to fix this with some potential bangers.

Just because I don’t have a PS5 yet doesn’t mean I can’t be exaggerating about the games I can or can’t play, console availability!

Halo: Infinity

I should preface this by saying that although I anticipate this game, it is rather cautious: “Boy, I really hope this game will not aspire.” I liked Hate serial since I was a kid. The series I grew up with was in many ways. What the Mario and all those 16-bit bangers for the generation before me are what I feel Hate. He introduced me to first-person shooters, military SF and online games. These are all things I still love today.

So you can imagine I felt kind of the same way when Halo 5: Guardians just straight up did not hit. He’s the only one Hate game I still haven’t played it to the end. I know I wasn’t alone in thinking that Halo 5 it had essentially zero holding power upon its release.

hope Infinite the rights of the ship and restore some respect for it Hate Name. Given the prolonged development of the game, overwhelming appearance at the Xbox Series X event last summer and yeara long delay that resulted from that display shows little doubt whether the game will do that. You may be wondering, given all the issues and warnings, why is it on my list?

Well, I just fucking love Hate, all.

The possibility of a good Hate the game will always be something I anticipate. In addition, given that this is the franchise’s 20th anniversary, I really have roots for the 343 Industries team to come by and deliver a good space shooter.

GTA VI …just mess, we know it will never come out. Do you know what game he will probably play anyway?

Final Fantasy XVI

If you have read any of the articles about games on Root, then this entry should not come as a surprise.

What can I say? I’m rubbish anime and I own that shit. Not much has been revealed about what kind of game Final Fantasy XVI in fact it is, but if I were a bettor, I’d say it seems to be the third massive online multiplayer game in the franchise FF XI and FF XIV: A reborn land (If anyone goes into the comments talking about “Well, actually Final Fantasy XIV it was technically the second- “in all that is holy, I will pull you over. We do not recognize this game in this space.)

The trailer released at last summer’s PS5 event promised a large-scale epic with an art style reminiscent of FF XIV: A reborn land, and the game sharing the same director. A superficial look at the official website of the game it also gives the idea that the game will be a multi-faction MMO.

While I enjoyed what I played FF XIV: A reborn land, it was so much contained there that until I could play it, I felt like I could never keep up. Whether it’s an MMO or a rightAction role-playing game ahead, I look forward to immersing myself in the world of Valisthea later this year.

Deathloop

As soon as I saw the trailer for this game, I knew I was there. It has pretty much everything I need in a game. Unique game mechanics? Check it out. An art style that catches your eye and doesn’t let you go? Check it out. A developer with a history of making a banger? Check, check and check. Oh, and does it have a black protagonist? Shietttt, crow, you don’t have to tell me twice.

Deathloop He throws you like an assassin who finds himself trapped in a time loop on a mysterious island. You must kill eight targets during a loop or the loop will be reset. The game also has a multiplayer component that places another player in control of an assassin who wants to protect the loop and is tasked with killing you to stop the player from breaking it.

Developer Arkane Studios has killed him in recent years with Prey and dishonor serial, so I’m very curious to see where they will go next with this title.

While these are just three games, the list goes on. Honorable mentions are published Horizon: Forbidden West, No More Heroes III, and Shin Megami Tensei 5. Are there any games you look forward to that you may have missed? Put them down! Provided they aren’t late, 2021 looks like it might have some bangers at hand –and I, for one, can’t wait.
