The Monster Hunter Rise demo is released today on Switch and includes cooperative online play

The moment when monster hunting fans were waiting is here – a demonstration for Capcom’s Monster Hunter Rise will be available later today.

This sample of the upcoming Switch exclusive also includes local and online co-op play – allowing you to team up with friends. Here’s what to expect, according to Capcom:

We need you to protect Kamura Village! Travel through the swampy flooded forest and face new monsters, such as the Sleepwalker and the cunning omnivorous Bishaten! “

In total, there are four different types of missions. A beginner mission, an intermediate mission, a basic training mission and a Wyvern training mission – with all 14 types of weapons available.

Of course, to team up with others, you’ll need to have access to a Nintendo Switch Online subscription. Remember, this demo will only be available for a “limited time”, so enjoy as much as you can.

The full version of Monster Hunter Rise will be released on the Switch on March 26 this year.
