This incident occurred in the arrest petition filed by Flores against the mayor of Santa Tecla, Roberto D´aubuisson for allegedly violating an order from the Administrative Litigation Chamber for the reinstatement of several dismissed city hall employees. The request was addressed to the General Prosecutor’s Office.

Flores also denounced him for defamation because, according to him, D’aubuisson dedicated himself to dissemination on networks, a video in which a couple appears arguing while intoxicated, but, according to the candidate for New Ideas, the mayor assures that it’s about Flowers. .

However, Flores did not present any evidence in support of his complaint against D´aubuisson.

There is also no publication in any D´aubuisson or ARENA party network that the mayor has indicated that Flores is the one appearing in the video.

When asked what the results of the two lawsuits against him for fraud and threats were, Flores tried to evade the issue, answering the newspapers for “inventing” those cases.

“These rooms that the newspapers have dedicated to writing, because the newspapers also serve the ARENA party, they serve the FMLN,” said Flores, who did not want to answer other questions about the trials and withdrew.

In June 2013, he was captured for threatening an employee of the National Registry Center. The case went to court, but Flores did not follow the measures that the court of Quinto de Paz had imposed on the victim. Pacheco said he came to cover a proselytizing event, but two female members of Nuevas Ideas came out to meet him to take pictures with cameras and cell phones and began harassing him, with the intent of preventing him from do the job.

“I arrived today to cover the New Ideas event, in the city of Santa Tecla … The two young women saw me immediately, went out to meet me and started taking photos and videos of me. They didn’t stop taking pictures of me, I felt harassed “, said the journalist on that occasion.
