Roberto Carlos Gutiérrez, 40, who is the main suspect for beating and strangling a 12-year-old boy to death, was captured by police in the town of Agua Caliente, Chalatenango.
The arrest of the suspect was executed yesterday. The brutal crime was allegedly committed in Nueva Concepción, always Chalatenango.

Early police investigations indicate that Gutiérrez intercepted the boy when he was shopping at a local store, at which point he threw him to the ground, hit him and strangled him. It all related to the theft of a mobile phone owned by a minor.
After the attack, neighbors helped the minor, tried to take him to Rosales Hospital in San Salvador, but he died on the way.
