The militant FMLN striker is a PNC agent, according to the family News from El Salvador

The head of security of the Minister of Health, Francisco Alabí, was identified as one of the attackers of a group of FMLN militants, the previous Sunday, of which two died; He is originally from a town in Cuscatlán.

In Candelaria, a town in the Cuscatlán department on the eastern shore of Lake Ilopango, few know that Diego Francisco Alvarado Peña worked as a security guard for Health Minister Francisco Alabí.

Blanca and Francisco, her parents, don’t even know how she got this position; What they are saying is that he is a member of the National Civil Police (PNC) and that he left home for his work in San Salvador last Friday.

Diego, as he is known in his place of residence, is 30 years old and, as soon as he finished high school in a private school in Cojutepeque, he entered the National Academy of Public Security (ANSP).

As far as I know, Diego’s parents say that he continues in the PNC.

However, they are surprised that no one from the police institution informed them about his state of health and the legal issue in which he was involved: after he shot a group of FMLN supporters, two of whom died.

Yesterday, they both said they didn’t know much about their son’s situation. They said they could not see him or talk to him because they were told he was unconscious. “Maybe when she wakes up, she’ll tell me how it all got in the way,” said Blanca, who says she’s afraid something bad will happen to her because of everything said about her son and the case.

In Candelaria it is no longer a secret that Diego is highlighted in the media and social networks as one of those responsible for the attack on a group of FMLN supporters.

Yesterday, in the middle of the afternoon, many locals had already seen the photos of Diego, where he is supposed to appear on the pier of Lake Ilopango and another in which he is seen with a rifle inside a vehicle.

Moments after the armed attack, FMLN members were found to have been attacked by people in an apparent state of intoxication and fans of a football club fired on the political caravan.

However, for Diego’s parents, this is surprising, because their son, as far as I know, went out to work on Friday and they never saw him getting drunk and drinking badly, they said.

Neighbors in the town of Candelaria are also surprised by the accusations brought against Diego; They claim that it was never known that he is a problematic person in this place.

If they have any doubt is that the car, because it is said that the Front caravan was attacked, is Diego.

Another attack from a security minister

This is not the first time that security personnel of this government have been involved in acts of intolerance.

On March 12, 2020, Melvin Omar Quezada Hernández, responsible for the security of the environment minister, was captured for firing another motorist with his weapon, in a section of Merliot Boulevard, Santa Tecla.

The capture was made after surveillance cameras revealed details about the attacker and the vehicle he was driving, a motorcycle.

Unlike Diego Francisco Alvarado Peña, Quezada Hernández’s neighbors described him as a troubled person, who quarreled with any of his neighbors in the Jardines del Volcán neighborhood, where he had installed a series of video surveillance cameras, allegedly part of from its security measures.
