Ruth Shuster worked at a McDonald’s in Pennsylvania for nearly three decades and recently celebrated her 100th birthday with no retirement plans.
As reported by WSVN, Shuster said that for her it felt like any other Wednesday, despite the fact that her colleagues organized a birthday party.
The woman started working in fast food at the age of 73, in 1994.
The press said that before the pandemic, Shuster helped customers with everything they needed. Now, cover what you can and help increase the morale of other employees.
“I was widowed when I was 50 and I’ve been working ever since, I love working,” she said.
Despite her time and age, the woman assured that she “has no intention” of retiring, because she is happy to be allowed to stay at her age.
