The Mario 35 event, which awards 350 Platinum points for little effort, is live

It should only take you 10 minutes, peaks

Super Mario Bros. 35 it’s still a truck, approaching the expiration date. But before that, Nintendo booked us a quick little event.

The challenge? Kill 3.5 million browsers from 23:00 PT on January 18 to 22:59 PM PT on January 25 or more, you just need to kill a Bowser to get a potential reward of 350 Platinum points (which can be used on physical or digital goods at My Nintendo).

You can defeat your Bowser in standard mode or the new event; which I would warmly recommend because it is adapted to find Bowser faster. I’ve organized the event several times, and since you start with a fire flower, you can get Bowser out pretty quickly if you run over one (whether it’s at castle level or through someone who sends it as a danger).

Just to make sure I had a few classes and took about five Bowsers in about 10 minutes. It’s easy! If you have Switch Online, you have Mario 35, so you can just as well dive in, manage to do and (probably) take advantage of the 350 platinum benefit.

As these events can sometimes be a bit complicated in terms of deadlines, we have provided the official documentation below just in case. Make a reminder to do it! It is one of the easiest ways to get platinum so far, which you can use on such things.
