The man hides the samosa between his buttocks to put her in jail

Pretty naughty.

A British man tried to sneak a samosa into prison by hiding it between his buttocks, police said in a recent report.

West Midlands police said the discovery of fried pastries was one of the most unusual incidents of 2020, Birmingham Live reported.

“We had some strange incidents,” Inspector Manj Ahir said on the website.

“One that stuck in my mind was a man found with a samosa secreted between his buttocks during a search.”

The hungry detainee apparently acted out of fear that he would not be able to get decent food after his arrest.

“He said he wants to sneak into the cell as a snack because he wouldn’t have thought the food was too big,” Ahir said.

The policeman joked: “Obviously, he wouldn’t have read our positive reviews on Trip Advisor!”

Another strange arrest involved a 40-year-old man who returned to prison after being released – with a box of chocolates to thank staff.

The man, who had been booked for assault, had type 2 diabetes, so officers went to his home to bring him the medicine.

“He also saw an alcoholic worker because he drank for the first time in six years, which he thought led to his arrest,” Ahir recalled.

A few days later, he returned to the cell block “with chocolates to thank for the care he received from the staff.”

“It was a wonderful gesture,” the inspector said.

The strange incidents were among the more than 45,000 arrests made by West Midlands police last year, the report said.

“It has been a year like no other for us with a significant demand, processing an average of 126 detainees per day, while complying with the COVID-19 protocols,” Ahir said.

“However, the team did well,” he added.
