Los Angeles Dodgers sign Mexican Pedro Santillán, a 19-year-old pitcher who is a product of the Red Devils Academy
The red devils of Mexico announced the transfer of the young pitcher Pedro Santillán at the Los Angeles Dodgers and in this way joins the Mexican players who are active in the Los Angeles franchise.
Through their social networks, Diablos Rojos has revealed that the 19-year-old pitcher will join the Aztecs Julio Urías and Víctor González, who were crowned MLB champions last year and both stood out in the World Series for their good performances.
Santillán is originally from Chihuahua and was recruited by Víctor Ledesma for the Alfredo Harp Helú Baseball Academy. In this academy, Miguel Ángel López and Salvador Robles were responsible for the collaboration with Pedro, who managed to have a remarkable performance in the Juntos por México Cup.
As for Pedro Santillán’s move to the Dodgers, the Red Devils have expressed joy that they have helped another Mexican player fulfill his dream of emigrating to baseball in the United States.
“We are proud to have been part of their formation and once again we were able to witness the signing of another of our potentials and to whom we wish the greatest success in his new team,” they wrote.
